Potassium fluoroborate

Properties: White powder without hygroscopicity; slightly soluble in water and warm ethanol, insoluble in cold ethanol; relative density 2.50; can be decomposed to boron trifluoride by strong acid; when fused with alkali carbonate, it will produce fluoride and borate; melting point 530℃; toxic.
Use: It can be used as fluxing agent for hot welding and hard soldering, and is the material to produce boron trifluoride and otherfluorine salts.
Packing: Pack in 25kg woven bag lined with polyvinyl plastic bag.
Storage, transportation & safety protection: It should be stored in shady, cool and dry warehouses. Keep it away from moisture. It will decompose to boron trifluoride gas if the temperature is over its melting point. In the air, it will rapidly hydrolyze for moisture and generate white mist which is irritative to people's skin, eyes and lungs. Please pay attention on the safe protection when using it.
